In March 1996, our hospital established the hospital infection Management Office, established the three-level organization of hospital infection management, clarified the responsibilities of organizations at all levels, and laid the foundation for the comprehensive and in-depth management of hospital infection。From 2002 to 2007, the hospital infection management Office belongs to the medical department, with 3 full-time staff, and Chen Temin, deputy director nurse, is the director of the office。In June 2008, an independent infection management department was established, led by Li Meixiang, deputy chief physician and associate professor。

It was merged with the Medical Department in March 2015,Renamed Hospital Infection Management Office,The current person in charge is Li Meixiang, Deputy chief physician and associate professor,He is also deputy chairman of the Hospital Infection Management Committee of Yunnan Hospital Association,Member of the expert group of Yunnan Hospital Infection Management Quality Control Center, member of Infection Control Branch of Yunnan Preventive Medical Association, member of Infection branch of Yunnan Medical Association。

The nosocomial infection management leadership of our hospital attaches great importance to and has a sound organization, and implements the prevention and control measures of nosocomial infection in medical services. The Nosocomial infection Management Office is specifically responsible for the management and business work of nosocomial infection prevention and control, which plays an important role in improving the quality of medical care and ensuring medical safety。

Job responsibilities:

1, Under the leadership of the president, the president in charge and the hospital infection management committee, to carry out the surveillance, prevention and control of hospital infection。

2. Check and guide the implementation of the rules and regulations on the prevention and control of hospital infection;

3. Monitor, analyze and feedback nosocomial infection and its related risk factors, propose control measures and guide the implementation of the problems;

4, to investigate the occurrence of nosocomial infection, statistical analysis, and report to hospital leaders or hospital infection management committee;

5, provide guidance for hospital cleaning, disinfection, sterilization and isolation, aseptic operation technology, medical waste management and other work;

6. Provide guidance for nosocomial infection control of infectious diseases;

7. Provide guidance to medical personnel on occupational health and safety protection against nosocomial infection;

8. Report, investigate and analyze nosocomial infection outbreaks, propose control measures, coordinate and organize relevant departments to deal with them;

9. Train medical staff on the prevention and control of nosocomial infections;

10. Participate in the management of clinical application of antibiotics;

11. Review the relevant certificates of disinfection devices and disposable medical devices and appliances;

12. Organizing scientific research on prevention and control of nosocomial infection;

13. Complete other work assigned by hospital leaders or hospital infection Management Committee。
