The Department of Endocrinology of Yunnan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in 2002, which is the earliest and largest department of traditional Chinese endocrinology in Yunnan Province。At present, it is the national regional diagnosis and Treatment center (Southwest) TCM endocrine diagnosis and treatment branch center，Western Chinese endocrinology specialist alliance unit，Key TCM specialty and Key TCM specialty (Diabetes) in Yunnan Province，Chairman of Diabetes branch of Yunnan Chinese Medicine Society，Provincial platform for TCM and Western integrative diagnosis and treatment of Xiaokebi syndrome，Zhang Zhen Chinese medical master studio was built in our department;Is an innovation team in Yunnan Province (Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ethnic medicine treatment of endocrine and metabolic diseases)，It is an important part of the endocrinology specialty direction of the National TCM geriatric Disease Regional Diagnosis and Treatment Center。At present, there are 47 beds, Professor Qian Rui is the director of the department, and a total of 22 medical staff。There are 3 chief physicians, 5 deputy chief physicians and 3 attending physicians。It has carried out a variety of TCM comprehensive treatment methods such as internal administration of traditional Chinese medicine, external application (encapsulation), acupuncture, cupping, auricular points, acupoint injection, traditional Chinese medicine hot Bao, acupoint application, etc., and multi-dimensional treatment of medicine, diet, sports, education and psychology。The dominant diseases include diabetes and its complications, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, hypertension related to endocrine metabolism, dyslipidemia, obesity, gynecological endocrinology, etc。The outpatient service has no holiday coverage throughout the day, and expert outpatient and general outpatient clinics are set up on weekends to provide high-quality and homogeneous diagnosis and treatment services and chronic disease management for patients。
